FAQ - CONTAINER RENTALS

  • HOW DO I PROCEED WITH RENTING A CONTAINER AT MY ADDRESS?

An application should be completed for approval of the agreement. The supplied quotation should be accepted, and paid into Langebaan Container's account, and the full rental agreement completed. Once the payment appears on our bank statement, arrangements will be made to deliver the container to the desired address within the West Coast.

  •  MY WHAT NEEDS TO BE PAID BEFORE A CONTAINER IS DELIVERED?

A deposit equal to one month's rental, together with the first month's rental, and delivery and collection costs is payable before delivery to your address.

  • WHEN MUST PAYMENT BE MADE?

The initial payment needs to reflect in the Storage WISE bank account, prior to delivery of the container. After the pre-delivery payment has been made, a debit order system is utilized for further monthly payments. 

  • WHAT ARE THE TERMS OF TERMINATION AND THE NOTICE PERIOD?

One calendar month's written notice is required, which forms are available from the office or can be supplied via email.

  • WHAT ARRANGEMENTS NEED TO BE MADE BEFORE DELIVERY/COLLECTION CAN BE UNDERTAKEN?

An application and rental agreement need to be completed, and approval obtained from Storage WISE's management. The full amount of the quotation must be paid, and reflect in the Storage WISE bank account. Access for a crane truck must be confirmed, and a date specified for delivery. For collection, at least one calendar month's notice should have been given, the container emptied of all contents, and a date for collection agreed upon with the office.

  • WHAT SPECIFICATIONS DO YOUR STANDARD SITE OFFICES HAVE?

All Site Offices are 6m containers, with at least 2 windows and a pedestrian door, lights and power points. Standard site offices are not insulated, whereas site offices with air conditioners are insulated.

  • CAN THE CONTAINERS BE PAINTED TO MY BUSINESS' SPECIFICATIONS BEFORE DELIVERY?

This can be arranged, but at the tenant's expense. A quote will be submitted according to the requirements.

  • WHEN IS MY DEPOSIT RETURNED?

Once the container has been returned to Storage WISE, and checked for any damages, the account processed and up to date, the deposit is refunded into the account nominated for the debit order. This should be within approximately 14 days of the container return.
